Junior Developer

Ubit is looking for young developers to complete its' team. The candidates will work with a team of developers in a production intensive environment using open-source and in-house developed tools and applications. They will have the opportunity to learn and apply your knowledge of mobile technology, work with a young multicultural team and learn about cellular technology used all around the world. In addition to learning and applying software development process to avoid downtime and improve maintainability.

The position is in downtown Tokyo. Come experience a new culture!

What we are looking for:

• CS/related degree or equivalent experience.
• Enthusiastic and interested in software development methodologies is a plus.
• Interest in software development methodologies is a plus.
• Conversational English required.
• Japanese language ability is preferred.
• Other language ability is a plus.
• Professional experience is a plus.

Technologies:

• Unix, especially Linux, knowledge is a plus.
• Database design and usage is a plus.
• Object Oriented Programming knowledge required.
• Knowledge of Java/C/C++/Tcl is a plus.
• Knowledge of Ruby is a big plus.
